Ms. Jamerson is an associate at the firm, and focuses her litigation practice primarily on workers’ compensation insurance defense. Ms. Jamerson originally began on the Plaintiff’s bar handling cases on behalf of injured parties. She has handled hundreds of cases in various stages of litigation. Having since moved to the defense side, Ms. Jamerson had gained a unique perspective in evaluating cases from both the defense and plaintiff point of view.
Ms. Jamerson moved from Illinois to Colorado in 2013. Prior to moving to Colorado, Ms. Jamerson clerked at a workers’ compensation firm in Chicago where she gained valuable workers’ compensation experience before entering into practice.
While attending Chicago-Kent College of Law, Ms. Jamerson served as an editor of the International and Comparative Law Journal, and clerked for the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian.
Colorado Bar Association
Litigated the defense of Claimant’s appeal for vocational rehabilitation and casual relationship of his gastroenteritis through successful oral argument and briefs at the Circuit Court level.
Defended a claim wherein Claimant was alleging value for permanent total disability and successfully negotiated it down to nominal value after discovery of pre-existing conditions and inconsistent statements in the medical records.
